Gearboxes for opencast mining

GearTec AG has developed and produced for a russian heavy machinery manufacturer the series of modern gearboxes intended for use in mobile equipment for opencast mining.

Our optimized solutions have been specially designed for this customer and can be operated at temperatures down to -40°C.

In November and December 2019, the customer acceptance of the hoist gearboxes, travel gearboxes and slewing gearboxes took place successfully at the GearTec AG plants in Magdeburg, Dessau and Barleben. Shortly afterwards, the painted and packaged gearboxes were transported to the customer.
